JUBILANCE was written to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Xinmin Senior School in Singapore. Appropriately for the occasion, the composition is a festive, virtuoso and dynamic opening work. The music of Benjamin Yeo is characterised by up-tempo melodies and widely scored dynamic contrasts.
